Glartek, founded in 2017, is a fast-growing leader in Augmented Reality (AR) solutions for the Manufacturing Industry and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of production and maintenance processes. Our software solutions combine the AR and Internet of Things (IoT) domains to bring visibility, optimization and reassurance of field operations. Glartek has offices in Lisbon and Leiria, Portugal. The company has very large customers such as EDP and Renault and have raised over €1.5M in venture capital.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company, reporting directly to the management team. This intense and demanding role will require you to be involved in all the Marketing initiatives of the company. As the ideal candidate, your goal is to be a versatile, high-energy and driven Marketing Manager. You will be involved in fast-paced day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy. Last but not least, you will be empowered and accountable for a wide range of initiatives, which will give you the opportunity to own your career path and shape the future of Glartek and AR.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends and market dynamics
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and product and bring qualified leads
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting and performance analysis
  • Create valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Create offline content, such as presentations, to be used by the Sales teams
  • Oversee and approve online and print marketing material, from website banners and videos to hard copy brochures and case studies
  • Measure, monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Attend events to represent the company and promote the company products
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all employees are kept informed of the company activities
  • Maintain the social media channels of the company
  • Build relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Be responsible for brand management and corporate identity

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Interest in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Technology-savvy with curiosity for new technologies
  • Proven and effective collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills to easily communicate key messages
  • Customer relationship management knowledge
  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Fluent in English
  • Available to travel: 5 to 10% of the time
  • No previous working experience required
