Senior JAVA Developer(m/f)

Lisbon

The Role:

We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in software engineering looking to learn and improve their knowledge and who are not afraid to try new things. A lot of what we build has never been done before after all!

We work mainly with Java, Python, but often end up working with many other languages, depending on project and client. The tools we try to incorporate are bleeding edge of technology into new analytical solutions.

Main requirements:

• 5+ years JAVA development experience
• Experience with Python
• Solid foundation in good coding practices and standards
• Good understanding of algorithms
• Back-end development experience (n-tier)
• Proficiency in Linux

Nice to have:

• Exposure to DevOps methodologies and tools
• Computing related degree or masters
• Big Data Technologies such as Elastic Search, Redis, Spark, InfluxDB
• Agile methodologies
• Front-end development experience
